• Labor Day weekend is coming and it is time for....you guessed it....the BATHTUB REGATTA!!! We won it by a hair last year and the Bayview Boat Club is working hard to get it back!
   

Here's the plan:
**900 hrs** - Start building your ingenious, human-powered vessel on site. Make sure it's race-ready at the Mariposa Hunters Point YC dock by noon!
 

**1200 hrs** - Kick off the race with a shot at the MHPYC's Tiki Bar, then board your masterpiece and race to the Bayview Boat club.

Upon arrival, take another shot and set sail back to MHPYC for the grand finale and your final shot—ALL FOR THE GLORY OF VICTORY!
 

**Important Details:**
- Participants must be club members and 21 years of age.
- On race day or before, please email gail@dekreon.org, with your preferred choice of liquor shot —
- Remember, no styrofoam allowed!
 

Join the fun, show off your creativity, and let's keep that trophy here where it belongs!

•  Our Labor Day party, immediately follows the Regatta, organized by Fleet Captain Leslie Sheppard and Rear Commodore Kenny Hallgren. 

The SF Giants will not be playing that day so parking will be abundant.  Aftermath will be up and singing from 2-6pm.

• Appetizers will be served at 1:30 
• The main course will be served at 3:30 and it will include
• BBQ salmon and chicken Ala Chef Kenny
• Summer  noodle sauce with Soy Ginger dressing
• Caprice salad - Tomato mozzarella salad with balsamic glaze
• Mexican street corn lollipops 
• Watermelon 
• Jalapeño corn bread
• Dessert  

Kitchen help is appreciated. Probationers: this is a great opportunity to get a sign-off and have fun too!)
