September 6, Sunday - Labor Day Party and Bathtub Regatta
(Planning for the event: August 20th, 6PM)
For the race, you show up at the club with your materials, build your vessel at the club and we take a shot and race from the BVBC to the MHPYC take another shot and then we race back to the Bay View for our final shot. These weasels have beaten us too many times. Let's get as many rafts into the water as possible this year. If you are a strong rower, if you have general carpentry skills or raft building knowledge, if you are sexy and you know it, if you are crafty and good at decorating and want to add pizzazz to our crafts, if you are a fun person and are just curious about what the heck this is all about, please come to the club August 20th around 6pm (Metered Parking gets cheap at 6pm thus the around 6pm). We will discuss the race, bounce ideas off each other, talk about what worked and didn't work in the past, see if we can build teams, and FREE FOOD.
