The Club is really rolling along with so many people stepping up to plate getting their hands dirty and helping in so many ways. I want to thank everyone who came out to the club work day on Saturday, April 21st.
The amount of work that was accomplished on Saturday was truly inspiring. The docks , the Gangway, Pressure Washing the Club, the galley, the courtyard, Larry’s Garden, etc. I can’t thank you all enough. We are Blessed for sure.
Opening Day On the Bay was such an amazing Day for me especially, it was first time I actually participating in the Parade of Boats with our entry Joint Venture skippered by member Donna Estrin along with First Mate Sydney Lange. Just a fantastic experience for me and something every member should make a point to do.
The party at the Club was fantastic with fantastic food prepared by Mellisa King and Jeffery Richardson along with guest Teo King.
So with that being said I decided Members of the Month for May are Joint Adventure Skipper and Member Donna Estrin and our amazing cooks for Opening Day Mellisa King and Jeffery Richardson. Thank you guys for being such great Members!
Thanks to everyone who helped and participated with the Kentucky Derby 🐎 Cinco de Mayo event. Thank you to Marisa for decorating both of the parties.
Thanks to Ronnie Iffla and Sarah Pfingsten for collecting the money and running the pools. Thanks to Fleet Captain Leslie Sheppard for collecting the money for the dinner and organizing the day.
Thanks to grill master Rear Commodore Kenny Hallgren And to Member Cooks Erica Walters and Nancy Ware. Just a really great meal and day.
We had another great turnout for our General Meeting this Month with over 40 members in attendance. Attendance is everything when it comes to the success of the Club.
Thank you PICYA Delegate David Hecht and Pat Scatena for a wonderful dinner along with their helpers Marion Ingersoll and Port Captain Ed Tingley.
Muttville was the Charity of the Month and they put on a great presentation.
Please remember that the ramp is for Members Only with PRIORITY given to the Bartenders of the Day.
Hope to see all at the Club soon.
I will be reporting back next Month on my progress with securing a Permit for Bingo at the Club.
Thanks for everyone awesome participation.
I LOVE THIS CLUB !

Larry was one of the best parts about the MHPYC. We will all miss his kind heart, warm hugs and giant smile. He brought out the very best in everyone. God bless you Larry, you will be missed but will remain forever in our hearts and memories. Rest in peace our friend.
